Ontario's Feed-In Tariff Program

The Feed-in-Tariff program, under direction of the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) will generate rapid development in Ontario of renewable energy projects. The province is following closely behind the trend that Germany has set by implementing a program which requires utilities to pay customers a guaranteed rate for solar power they feed back into the grid under contract.

SunLit Technologies commitment ensures that installations meet the Ontario manufactured content requirement maximizing the return on your investment (ROI) during the grid-connection term. Our electrical contractors are both insured and experienced. How to get started? Your first step is to visit the Ontario Power Authority website http://microfit.powerauthority.on.ca/ and apply for a FIT contract; there is no charge for this step. Once your 'conditional approval' is granted, contact Sunlit Technologies for a site visit, analysis and consultation. The cost for a solar PV design, shade analysis and performance data specific to your project is $195.00 (credited when project moves to installation). We are able to review your site and execute preparation work via Google Maps, so be sure to include your address, town/city, and postal code.
